As the vaccination is rolling out across the UK two centenarians at Charlotte Grange Care Home in Hartlepool have proudly received their COVID vaccination and want to encourage others to get vaccinated too!
Maisie Rymer, 103, and Rose Caffery, 100 years young, have both had the virus but thankfully have fully recovered and are now fighting fit, jumped at the chance of being vaccinated and wanted to be captured on camera so that they could show how important it is to get vaccinated and want to encourage others to get vaccinated as well.
Wendy Nicholson Manager at Charlotte Grange Care Home said “It’s great that everyone at Charlotte Grange has now been vaccinated. It feels like we finally have light at the end of the tunnel.” She continued “As soon as Maisie and Rose heard about the vaccinations they jumped at the opportunity and wanted to do their bit to encourage others to get vaccinated by leading by example. They are an inspiration to us all. “
