Santa brings Christmas Cheer to local care home residents!

The residents at Eccleston Court Care Home in St Helens enjoyed a visit from Santa thanks to Prescot Rotary Club!

With the difficult year that residents have had, due to the Coronavirus Pandemic, the Rotary Club wanted to bring some festive cheer to care homes and Eccleston Court was one of a number of homes that Santa visited! Some of the residents were able to wave to him during his ‘socially distanced’ visit and had a wonderful time listening to the Christmas music!

Carla Middleton,  Manager at Eccleston Court said

“This has been a difficult year for everyone. So, a visit from Santa on before the big day was certainly a great boost for everyone.” She continued “I was lovely to see the smile on everyone’s face, which brought back wonderful memories of Christmases gone by”.

Martin McGuigan, Community Integrated Care’s Managing Director said

“No matter how old you are Santa always puts a smile of people’s faces and it’s clear to see the residents at Eccleston Court clearly enjoyed the visit.” He continued. “At Community Integrated Care we know how important it is to create wonderful memories and our teams have been working hard during this difficult year to keep residents active, stimulated and in touch with their loved ones.”
